We all know that solar cells, also called photovoltaic (PV), convert sunlight directly into electricity. PV gets its name from the process of converting light (photons) to electricity (voltage), which is also called as the PV effect. With the concept of the solar conversion kit, any inverter or battery can now be converted into a solar inverter. Solar conversion kit is an additional device or a solar panel which could be connected to our existing home inverters, thus converting the system into a hybrid form. By converting the normal inverter into the solar hybrid inverter, one can connect solar panels to it and start using the solar energy available in the day time for the normal daily use.
The solar conversion kits introduce mainly two new parts to the existing inverter system; solar PV modules and the solar converter. The solar PV modules are installed on the roof top at a fixed tilt and generally facing south direction of the location. The energy generated will be brought to the solar converter which is located near the inverter and battery bank.
